The Strictly Dancing With Lisa classes are great for the mind and body! You can do as much or as little as you want in terms of the energy you put into it, so it does mean it’s good exercise for people of all ages. However, as with all forms of exercise, dancing isn't without its risks. Even if you’ve been coming to my classes for years, our health is constantly changing and we need to be mindful of this.
It’s vitally important that you stay safe and healthy. You are responsible for exercising within your own limits and need to assume all risk of injury to your person or property. Therefore, whether you usually attend my regular weekly classes, wish to start one or you’re dancing at home following some of my YouTube videos or joining a live streaming class via Zoom, please be mindful of the following things:-
• General Level of Fitness / Usual Level of Sporting Activity
• Any pre-existing health issues – such as chest pain, heart problems, diabetes, back injury, joint problems and pregnancy
• Environment – make sure you have an area appropriate for the activity and enough space free from obstacles that may cause harm.
General Health & Safety

It is good exercise for people of all ages however, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire before you can take part. These will be available at class but to save time you can download the document by clicking on the link above. Please print the document off, complete it and bring it along to your first FitSteps class.
